Admissions

If you would like your child to attend Charlton Church Of England School please contact the office to make an appointment with the Headteacher. You will be most welcome and we recommended that if possible, you visit with your child, so that they can also have the opportunity to look around the whole school, ask questions and talk to Charlton pupils about what it means to be a part of our school family.

Like all schools we have an admission policy, which sets out the admissions criteria. As a Church Of England School we also have additional forms to complete. Please click on the links below for all the information and documents you need to make an application. Alternatively, if you visit the office and register your interest, we will provide or send the application documents to you.

Information about admissions:

If your child is due to start primary school in 2018, you can appeal between 16 April and 16 May 2018 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 18 July 2018. For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
