If you would like your child to attend Charlton Church Of England School please contact the office to make an appointment with the Headteacher. You will be most welcome and we recommended that if possible, you visit with your child, so that they can also have the opportunity to look around the whole school, ask questions and talk to Charlton pupils about what it means to be a part of our school family.

Like all schools we have an admission policy, which sets out the admissions criteria. 

Applications for transfer to primary school for Reception year in September 2026 open on Friday 7 November 2025 and close on Thursday 15 January 2026.

If you provided an email address on your application you will receive an email on Thursday 16 April 2026 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. You can also log in from 5pm on Thursday 16 April 2026 to view your offer online.
