If you would like your child to attend Charlton Church Of England School please contact the office to make an appointment with the Headteacher. You will be most welcome and we recommend that if possible, you visit with your child, so that they can also have the opportunity to look around the whole school, ask questions and talk to Charlton pupils about what it means to be a part of our school family.

Applications for transfer to primary school for Reception year in September 2024 open on Tuesday 5th November 2024 and close on Wednesday 15 January 2025.

If you provided an email address on your application you will receive an email on Wednesday 16th April 2025 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. You can also log in from 5pm on Tuesday 16 April 2024 to view your offer online.

If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2025, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Wednesday, 16 April 2025). You needed to submit your appeal before Tuesday, 20^th May 2025 for it to be considered by Friday, 18^th July 2025. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
