At Charlton, we believe that children develop confidence and independence through gaining new skills and embracing new experiences. We seek to offer a range of extra-curricular opportunities that will appeal to children and enable them to pursue their own interests and talents. The list of clubs is issued termly and parents are able to book places online.
The Yr 6 Sports Crew and KS2 play leaders support younger children at playtimes and lunchtimes by encouraging active play.

Breakfast and After School Club
In addition, we also provide childcare to support working parents before and after school. As there are limited spaces, Breakfast and After School Club can only be booked for children whose parents are out at work.
Breakfast Club runs from 8:00am to 8:35, and costs £3.00, with £1.50 for additional siblings. Breakfast is provided. We have also introduced additional time which allows parents to drop their child off from 7:30 with a cost of £4.50. There is also an Early Drop Off option available which runs from 8:20 to 8:35 and costs £1.
After School Club runs to 5:00pm, and costs £6.00, with £3.00 for additional siblings. A drink and biscuit is provided. There is also an additional time option availbale for After School Club which will run to 5:30 and the charge for this is £8 with £4 for siblings.
